English and Maths

English Functional Skills

Our English Functional Skills course is free for all adults aged 19+, and is designed for you to be able to quickly develop your English skills and gain an accredited qualification. The course focuses on reading, writing, speaking and listening as well as improving spelling, punctuation and grammar. We offer a blended learning approach to suit everyone's needs, the classes will involve tutor presentations, group activities and independent study. English Functional Skills is an essential qualification to help you progress onto higher education, gain employment or a promotion, help with your children's homework and gain confidence.

Days: Thursday and Friday

Times: Entry Level classes are delivered 9:30am - 12:00 / Level 1 and 2 classes are delivered 12:30 - 3:00pm

Entry Requirments: There are no specific entry requirements for this course, you will undergo an assessment at your induction, to identify the most appropriate level of course for you.

Maths Functional Skills

Our Maths Functional Skills course is free for all adults aged 19+, and is designed for you to be able to quickly develop your Maths skills and gain an accredited qualification. We offer a blended learning approach to suit everyone's needs, the classes will involve tutor presentations, group activities and independent study. Maths Functional Skills is an essential qualification to help you progress onto higher education, gain employment or a promotion, help with your children's homework and gain confidence.

Days: Wednesday and Thursday

Times: Entry Level classes are delivered 10am - 12:00 / Level 1 and 2 classes are delivered 1:00 - 3:00pm

Entry Requirments: There are no specific entry requirements for this course, you will undergo an assessment at your induction, to identify the most appropriate level of course for you.
