"This is the story behind my photo. Eddie was a very special person to me, he was the dad I never had. Eddie lost his brother in Crosby when they were children and his last wish was that when he passed away, his ashes would be scattered on Crosby beach so that he could be reunited with his brother. Eddie lost his life to cancer in 2016, the statue on the picture was his special place making it very special to me too, so it was funny to find the statue had grown a good head of hair one day. Eddie always used to say that he would never have a bad hair day because he didn’t have any hair. I felt as if he was looking over me that day"
