A home away from home
Rotunda nursery provides affordable care for children 12 months and above.
With space for 29 children across our Toddler Room and Preschool Room, our nursery provides a safe, stimulating environment where your child can grow in confidence, curiosity and independence.
Nature is a big part of the learning process here at Rotunda, and your child can enjoy playing in our forest school area, kitchen garden, digging zone, and a safe space for running, climbing and cycling.
Our doors are open Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm, for 51 weeks a year, offering flexible full-day and half-day places, including funded hours.
Curriculum & our Approach
We follow each child’s interests to guide their learning and development. Our team takes time to get to know every child, helping them meet key milestones.
Children are encouraged to explore through sensory play, hands-on experiences and meaningful activities—whether they’re just finding their feet or getting ready to start school.

Outdoors with Rotunda Nursery
Learning with the seasons
Our gardens are an extension of the classroom.
From planting seeds in spring to splashing in puddles in winter, children are encouraged to explore the world around them in every season. Forest school sessions, yoga, campfires, and celebrations all take place in our Wellbeing Garden—giving children the chance to connect with nature and with each other.
Forest Afterschool Club
Wednesdays: 4–5pm. Term time only.
Join us for an hour of fun in nature—get stuck into crafts, gardening, play, and more. Includes a free sandwich and drink for every child.
