Supporting Teaching and Learning – Level 2 Certificate

You’re not alone. And that’s exactly what these courses are for.
Our English and Maths Functional Skills courses are designed to help you build your confidence, get a recognised qualification, and take the next step—whatever that looks like for you. You’ll be learning in small, friendly groups, with tutors who get it and support you every step of the way.
Free to adults aged 19+ and living within the Greater Liverpool area.
English Functional Skills
Improve your reading, writing, speaking and listening—as well as your spelling, punctuation and grammar.

Computer Courses
Build your computer skills and get connected.
If you’ve never had the chance to get confident with computers, now’s the time. Our Computers for Beginners course is for people aged 16+ who want to get to grips with everyday tech—without the faff.
Whether you’re applying for jobs, managing your money, or just trying to keep up with everything being online, we’ll show you what you need to know—clearly, simply, and with no nonsense.
All classes are delivered in person at Rotunda so you’ll have real, hands-on support throughout.
This course is free and funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund with the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.

Yes, you are given the opportunity to progress onto other courses available.
Do I get the opportunity to get work experience?
Yes, work placement opportunities are available both on-site at Rotunda College and Community Hub or via our employer partners.
Do I access employers or agencies to get employment opportunities?
Yes, during all our courses we embed IAG and CV writing to support your end goal of employment. We also guarantee an interview with our Employer partners.
Can I take individual courses or do I have to join a full Academy programme?
es, you can choose what works best for you. All our courses can be taken individually or as part of a full Academy pathway. Whether you’re interested in a single qualification or want to progress through a full programme—such as our Early Years Academy, Teaching Assistant Academy, or Health & Social Care Academy—we’ve designed our learning to be flexible around your goals.
Are your courses free?
Yes, most of our Adult Education is free at the point of access although there are eligibility criteria depending on where you live.
What is the highest qualification you offer?
Level 3 & Level 4. Level 3 Counselling and, L3 L4 in Education and Training.
